This course is aimed at anyone with a passing interest in cloud computing that’s considering an Azure migration and is broken down into 4 main areas:

“Starting your Cloud Journey”, where I talk about the Cloud Adoption Framework and aim give you a set of tools you can use to help plan a successful migration.

“Becoming Azure Ready”, where I look at how you put everything in place that you need to start your cloud journey. This focuses on things such as access, cost management and budgeting, reporting and monitoring and general best practice.

“Beginning Your Azure Migration”, looks at the different migration strategies you can employ as well as looking at the range of supporting services that Microsoft provides. We look at how you can migrate common services such as virtual machines and SQL server instances as well as looking at the options you have for migrating large amounts of data.

“Innovating with Azure Cloud Services”, takes us one step further. With you applications and services in the cloud I look at how you can leverage the power of the Azure platform with services like Function Apps, Azure Power Apps and artificial intelligence.

Migrating to the cloud is difficult but with the right tools in place, and the right mindset, your organisation can harness the power of the cloud and gain yourselves a real competitive advantage.
